By Corey Pein on March 14th, 2010

The not-too-surprising results from the New Mexico Democratic Party’s pre-primary convention on March 13 at Buffalo Thunder are available at the New Mexico Independent, here. But we got pictures.

Lt. Gov. Diane Denish, with Gov. Bill Richardson nowhere to be seen. SFR checked the gambling floor, too: No Richardson there, either.

The Lizard Man Cometh: David Icke at Buffalo Thunder

By Maassive on October 4th, 2009

Footballer-turned-British-Green-Party-spokesman-turned-son-of-god-turned-cult-idol David Icke is returning to New Mexico. The controversial writer who formulated the theory that the world is controlled by reptilian aliens posing as celebrities and politicians (e.g. Hillary Clinton, the Queen Mum) will deliver a 7-hour lecture with 1,000 illustrations on Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Hilton Golf Resort and Spa at Buffalo Thunder

Based on the flyer (click to enlarge) it doesn’t look like Icke will be discussing the Illuminati directly, which is often described as an anti-Semitic theory by his critics for its link to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. No, this time Icke will make the argument that the world shouldn’t be worried about swine flu, but the forthcoming swine flu vaccine instead. Other issues: a single North American currency, the Federal Reserve, the NAFTA Superhighway and eugenics.

The event will also include a fundraiser for A Child’s Miracle Mind, a 501c3 raising money to create “The School of Now,” which would be an institution somewhere in New Mexico or Texas for children with ADD/ADHD disorders. The school does not believe in using medication to treat their conditions.

The live-in school is described as an “alternative educational environment for these children so that their purpose can be better discovered, understood and fulfilled.”

Sounds kinda like an evil Hogwarts, doesn’t it?
