Santa Fe’s noisiest and arguably most prolific artist collective, Meow Wolf, is turning 2 this month. Anyone who’s slid by the group’s warehouse space at the corner of Hopewell and Second Streets knows that most of its exhibits are made from items cast off by society at large; piles of dead bees, yards and yards of mardi gras beads, bent bike wheels and more. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, indeed, as the artists of Meow Wolf consistently make beauty out of what stupider people wouldn’t look at twice.

A number of events by way of grand celebration are in order, the biggest of which is a group show, open to anyone and everyone who would like to submit work. In the words of member Caity Kennedy, Meow Wolf is “accepting work till we run out of room.” Considering the group’s 2000-square-foot warehouse space is quite on the cavernous side, chances are there’s room for your work too.

For information on submitting artwork, hop over to MW’s Facebook event page on the topic. While you’re at it (clicking links, that is), MW’s new website is super-spiff and very cool.
