Sure, it’s freezing, and there are puddles everywhere, and the traffic is terrible today. But ski and snowboard fans take heart: Here’s a tantalizing image from Taos Ski Valley, which is reporting six inches of snowfall in the past 24 hours:

Both Taos Ski Valley and Ski Santa Fe expect to open this Thanksgiving Day, November 26.
